RE: Propeller Selection, Surge Crusher, KB45-10XL if your are going to run same voltage but stepping down from 2000kv to 1200 kv then that alone should significantly reduce amp draw. Stick the x440 back on there and see what happens. If it is acceptable then you might try a x642 or a s220 from prather.

My boat is a Joysway Surge Crusher. I'm running it on 6s1p lipo, with a 120A Turnigy Aquastar ESC. My current propeller is a Octura X440 3 blade, and with the stock 2000KV motor, this setup really flies for being just el-cheapo. It's just that i suspect the stock motor wont last long, drawing 112A and delivering 2245 watts.
